Can money alone really fix any major problem we face? We already know that billions from the stimulus package will be redirected into the pockets of those who have the intent to defraud. This will also happen with some of the billions appropriated to fix health care. So, what do we do?

Let’s start by telling stories. We need all of us to tell our story of how we survived a major illness, improved our health and the treatments that saved our lives. We already know that not all medications work for all of us, that not all treatments work for everyone and yet do we share our story? Wait, how will sharing our stories change health care in America? That will be the hard part because those that listen will then have to take action and responsibility for our own lives. However, what if just one story from one survivor of an illness saved just one life of someone who listened?
