The goal is to get everyone in a pool, regardless of year, sex, employment status, ETC.

Filling the pot - Revenues
1. Since companies are paying approx 600 blllion for 160 employees
2. Hospital revenues - because there will be less indigent patients.
Cost savings 400 Billion
3. For Medicare/Medicaid/SCHIP is 14 Billion

total 1.14 Trillion to cover approx 310 million people. We have $3677.42
to cover each and every person regardless of know they are.

Insures WILL NOT be able no discriminate based on age, medical condition, Etc.

Simple Single Payer System

I believe that a single payer system in which patients are required to pay a PERCENTAGE of health care services would be an elegant solution. Doctors and hospitals should be required to publish public price lists and patients should be free to choose the lowest cost providers with the best reputations. Wealthy patients would pay higher percentages and poor patients would pay smaller percentages ensuring that patients behave as responsible consumers of health care. Totally free systems are subject to abuse and uncontrolled costs.

The solution is obvious

Single payer. Make doctors, nurses, dentists and pharmacists municipal employees, just like firefighters and police. Close down all health insurers and "benefits managers" and thereby save billions in pointless expenses on useless administration and profit-taking. Pay what it costs to make people healthy.

Stop overcharges

Simply stop the overcharges, by legal mandate. This is something no politician has even mentioned doing. Start by very tightly regulating the 7 trillion dollars in Medicare prescription drug benefits that George W Bush handed the drug companies without oversight. This amounts to telling the drug companies to charge whatever they like, driving up costs throughout the system. Another overcharge example: In order to be admitted for a back operation, my wife had to purchase a specific back corset, chosen and prescribed by her surgeon, before checking in at admissions.

Medicine socialized?

Canada has a great system of healthcare.
In order to have quality healthcare for the public, you must entirely remove money from the equation.
Cannabis is a perfect example of how American doctors and healthcare administrators care more about money than they care about people.
Unfortunately, the wealthy few are in control of our government, which controls healthcare. Its been done through lobbyists & lawyers.
Nothing short of a complete overthow of the U.S. government can fix our healthcare system. (unless you believe in aliens)
