Funding Healthcare

I think it's time the government(all areas) bite the same bullet the general public has had to bite. They need to reduce spending-not increase taxes. The general public has had to deal with lay-offs and reductions in pay or work weeks. I think Washington needs to do the same. They need to cut benefits to congressman(including pay-let them take a hit for a change). I believe the President should look at his own spending practices. Do we need to pay for his date nights to Paris and New York?
