82%: According to a national survey of
doctors, among the small number of survey respondents who had fully functional electronic-records system, 82% of them indicated the system had positive effects on the quality of clinical decisions, 86% said the system helped in avoiding medication errors, and 82% to 85% said the systems helped improve the delivery of long-term and preventive care.
